Nikolai Volkoff (with Slick) pinned Don Kernodle.

In the 'Event Center', Sean Mooney detailed 'Saturday Night's Main Event', on N.B.C. on Saturday, August 15th. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will face "Outlaw" Ron Bass. Bass spoke about the match.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake defeated Tiger Chung Lee, by submission, with the Sleeper.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund presented his 'SummerSlam Report'. WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, spoke about "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. The Powers of Pain (Warlord & Barbarian) will face The New Dream Team (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine & Dino Bravo). Jimmy Hart (with The New Dream Team) spoke about the Powers of Pain. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka v The Magnificent Muraco was announced.

The Bushwhackers (Luke & Butch) defeated Barry O & Gary Royal, when Butch pinned Royal.

In 'The Snake Pit', with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, the guests were The Honky Tonk Man & Jimmy Hart. HTM wanted to sing a song, but Roberts mocked him. HTM & Hart seemingly stormed off, but crept around behind Roberts, and HTM smashed Roberts over the head with his guitar.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan pinned Terry Gibbs.

There was an advert for the August issue of WWF Magazine, followed by an advert for 'SummerSlam'.

The New Dream Team (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine & Dino Bravo, with Jimmy Hart), defeated S.D. Jones & "Pistol" Pez Whatley, when Bravo pinned Jones.

Episode 162 - Superstars - July 30th

 

This week on 'Superstars':

Vince McMahon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura were on commentary.

One Man Gang & "The Natural" Butch Reed (with Slick) defeated The Mulkey Bros. (Bill & Randy), when Gang got the pin.

The fans were asked if WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, was right not to sell out to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.

"Leaping" Lanny Poffo pinned Barry O.

"Outlaw" Ron Bass pinned George South.

Junkyard Dog pinned "Playboy" Buddy Rose.

Onstage, Craig DeGeorge interviewed "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil), who addressed WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan's refusal to sell him the WWF Championship, and promised he has an insurance policy, heading into 'SummerSlam'.

There was an advert for 'SummerSlam', followed by an advert for the August issue of WWF Magazine.

Powers of Pain (Warlord & Barbarian) defeated The Shadows, when Warlord got the pin.

Episode 161 - Wrestling Challenge - July 29th

 The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart) pinned Billy Travis.

 There was advert for the August issue of WWF Magazine, followed by an advert for 'SummerSlam'.

 Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka pinned The Gladiator.

 In the 'Event Centre', Sean Mooney announced 'Saturday Night's Main Event', on NBC, on Saturday, August 15th. Big John Studd v "King" Harley Race was announced for the show. Studd spoke about the match, and about his 'SummerSlam' match against King Kong Bundy.

The Hart Foundation (Bret "Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) defeated The Nightmares, when Neidhart got the pin following a Hart Attack.

 The was a recap of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil), onstage on the July 9th 'Superstars', offering to buy the World Wrestling Federation Championship from WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, followed by Hogan's response on last week's 'Superstars'.

 "Cowboy" Bob Orton (with Mr. Fuji) pinned Rocky King.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund presented his 'SummerSlam Report', and announced that WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, will defend his Title against "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. WWF Intercontinental Champion, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, will defend his Title against "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. Orndorff spoke about the match.

Dynamite Kid pinned Shadow #1.
