Episode 124 - Wrestling Challenge - April 14th

 


Results from this week's 'Wrestling Challenge':

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart pinned Goldie Rogers.

The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart), Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat", and The Magnificent Muraco, all spoke about tonight's No. 1 Contender's Battle Royal.

The Brooklyn Brawler pinned Mario Mancini.

Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, “Outlaw” Ron Bass, and Tito Santana, all spoke about tonight’s No.1 Contender's Battle Royal.

There was a vignette featuring Killer Khan.

The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell) defeated Rusty Brooks & Terry Gibbs, when Blair pinned Gibbs.

Slick (with One Man Gang) spoke about WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, and tonight’s No. 1 Contender's Battle Royal.

 Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka spoke about tonight’s No. 1 Contender's Battle Royal.

WWF Tag Team Champion, Ax (with Mr. Fuji), pinned Jake Milliman.

 In the 'Event Centre', Sean Mooney detailed the upcoming show in the Boston Garden, on Saturday, April 25th. Dino Bravo and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake each spoke about their match. “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff v “Cowboy” Bob Orton was announced. Orton spoke about the match. WWF Tag Team Champions, Demolition (Ax & Smash) v Junkyard Dog & Koko B. Ware was announced. Ware spoke about the match.

Big John Studd won the No. 1 Contender's Battle Royal, last eliminating King Kong Bundy. The match was contested under Royal Rumble rules. The order of entrants:

1 – Big John Studd

2 – Tito Santana

3 – The Honky Tonk Man

4 – The Magnificent Muraco

5 – Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat

6 – “Outlaw” Ron Bass

7 – Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka

8 – Nikolai Volkoff

9 – Greg “The Hammer” Valentine

10 – King Kong Bundy

Studd eliminated every other wrestler, and will now challenge WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, in the Boston Garden, on April 25th.
