Don Kernodle defeated "Iron" Mike Sharpe, by submission, with the Cobra Clutch. During the match it was announced that Kernodle will meet "King" Harley Race, this Saturday night, in Madison Square Garden.

In 'The Snake Pit', with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, the guests were "The Natural" Butch Reed & Slick.

"Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff pinned Gary Royal. During the match, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat cut an inset promo speaking about teaming with Orndorff to meet The Magnificent Muraco & "Cowboy" Bob Orton, this Saturday night, in Madison Square Garden.
