Episode 137 - Superstars - May 21st

 


Results from this week's 'Superstars':

The Islanders (Haku & Tama, with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Duane Gill & George South, when Gill submitted to Haku's Tongan Death Grip.

Backstage, Craig DeGeorge interviewed Rick Martel & Tito Santana, who spoke about The Islanders, and announced they are forming a tag team called Strike Force.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake defeated "Crippler" Rip Oliver, by submission, with the Sleeper.

There was a promo by The Bushwhackers (Luke & Butch), followed by a graphic advertising 'King of The Ring', on pay-per-view, on Sunday, June 28th.

The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated Mario Mancini, by submission, with the Asiatic Spike.

Onstage with Craig DeGeorge, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) offered a young boy in the audience $500 if he could dribble a basketball 15 times. With the boy on the cusp of completing the challenge, DiBiase knocked the ball away, and refused to pay the boy.

Junkyard Dog pinned Goldie Rogers.

In the 'Event Centre', Sean Mooney detailed the upcoming show in the Philadelphia Spectrum, on Saturday, May 30th. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed Slick & One Man Gang, about Gang's No Holds Barred WWF Championship Match, with WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan. Craig DeGeorge interviewed WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan. Ken Resnick interviewed Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, regarding his match with The Magnificent Muraco. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake v Greg "The Hammer" Valentine was announced for the show. Gene Okerlund interviewed Valentine.

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka pinned "Playboy" Buddy Rose.

Episode 136 - Wrestling Challenge - May 20th

 

This week on 'Wrestling Challenge':

Nikolai Volkoff (with Slick) pinned Siva Afi.

There was a music video highlighting The Moondogs (Rex & Spot).

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (with Jimmy Hart) defeated Reno Riggins, when Riggins submitted to the Figure Four Leglock.

"Adorable" Adrian Adonis (with Jimmy Hart) showed Vince McMahon his makeup routine.

Don Kernodle defeated Charlie Fulton, when Fulton submitted to the Cobra Clutch.

In 'The Snake Pit', with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, the guests were The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell), who spoke about their new "masked confusion" tactic.

The was an advert for 'King of The Ring', on pay-per-view, on Sunday, June 28th.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat pinned Barry O.

In the 'Event Centre', Sean Mooney detailed the upcoming show in the Philadelphia Spectrum, on Saturday, May 30th. WWF President, Jack Tunney, announced WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, will defend his Title against One Man Gang, in a No Holds Barred Match. “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) spoke about Junkyard Dog. Sam Houston v Tiger Chung Lee was announced for the show.

In a non-title bout, WWF Tag Team Champions, Demolition (Ax & Smash, with Mr. Fuji) defeated S.D. Jones & "Pistol" Pez Whatley, when Ax pinned Whatley.

Next week - WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan v Nikolai Volkoff, in a non-title match.

Craig DeGeorge interviewed "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, ahead of his match against "Outlaw" Ron Bass.

"Adorable" Adrian Adonis (with Jimmy Hart) defeated Sam Houston, via submission, with Goodnight Irene.

The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) defeated The Moondogs (Rex & Spot), when Smith pinned Rex.

Sean Mooney interviewed WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, ahead of his Title defense against Killer Khan.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and "Outlaw" Ron Bass battled to a double countout draw.

The Fabulous Rougeau Bros. (Jacques & Raymond, with Jimmy Hart) defeated The Bushwhackers (Luke & Butch), when Jacques pinned Butch.

Craig DeGeorge interviewed "Outlaw" Ron Bass. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan interrupted the interview, and assaulted Bass.

"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) pinned Tito Santana.

Andre The Giant (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) pinned Big John Studd.

Craig DeGeorge interviewed "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil), following his victory over Tito Santana.

WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, retained his Title, by pinning Killer Khan (with Mr. Fuji).
