Episode 65 - Wrestling Challenge - October 29th

 

On 'Wrestling Challenge' this week:
 
The Islanders (Haku & Tama, with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Jim Merkle & Brian Costello, when Tama pinned Costello.
 
 There was an update on the medical condition of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, and Piper spoke about Snuka and what Piper did to Snuka, in Madison Square Garden.

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (with Jimmy Hart) defeated D.J. Peterson, by submission with the Figure Four Leglock.

Backstage, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan on a forklift spoke about working hard.

The Bushwhackers (Luke & Butch) beat Rusty Brooks & Dusty Wolfe, when Butch pinned Brooks.

There was an advert for 'Survivor Series'.

In 'Piper's Pit', "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with "Dr. D" David Schultz), revealed his 'Survivor Series' team consists of himself, Schultz, "Cowboy" Bob Orton, and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.

Dino Bravo (with Jimmy Hart) pinned Jerry Allen.

The Mega Powers (WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, and WWF Intercontinental Champion, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, with Miss Elizabeth), revealed that they will partner with "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka to face "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's team at 'Survivor Series'. They said they would keep the identity of the fourth team member a secret for now.

Junkyard Dog pinned "Iron" Mike Sharpe.

The U.S. Express (Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda) defeated The Shadows, when Windham got a submission with a Figure Four Leglock.

"Dr. D" David Schultz pinned Koko B. Ware.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed The Magnificent Muraco & Mr. Fuji, regarding Muraco's upcoming match against WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan.

Tito Santana pinned The Iron Sheik (with Slick).

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, about his upcoming Title defence against The Magnificent Muraco.

"Cowboy" Bob Orton pinned Junkyard Dog.
 
"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka defeated "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff), when Piper was disqualified for attacking Snuka with a steel chair. After the bell, Piper continued his assault, and Snuka was stretchered out.

WWF Intercontinental Champion, "Macho Man" Randy Savage (with Miss Elizabeth) retained his Title, when he pinned "The Natural" Butch Reed (with Slick).

There was an update on "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, who was being treated by doctors.

WWF Tag Team Champions, The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid), retained their Titles, against The Fabulous Rougeau Bros. (Jacques & Raymond, with Jimmy Hart), when Kid pinned Raymond.

There was another update on Jimmy Snuka's condition.

WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, pinned The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji), to retain his Title.

There was an advert for 'Survivor Series', and it was revealed that in the main event a team captained by Hulk Hogan will face a team captained by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

There was an advert for WWF toys.

D.J. Peterson pinned Brian Costello.

"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka issued a challenge to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.

Koko B. Ware pinned Jim Merkle.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan was shown mopping backstage. He spoke about the U.S.A. and The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff.
