Episode 16 - Superstars - June 13th

 

On 'Superstars' this week:

We opened up with a promo from Mr. Fuji with Sika, who ate a live chicken. WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, responded.

The Bushwhackers (Luke & Butch) defeated The Brooklyn Brawler & "Iron" Mike Sharpe, when Luke pinned Sharpe.

There was an advert for 'King of The Ring', and we learned that The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) are entered in the tournament.

Kamala & Afa beat George South, Italian Stallion & Jose Luis Rivera in a Handicap Match, when Kamala pinned South.

  Tito Santana was "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's guest on 'Piper's Pit', discussing Santana's upcoming match with "Dr. D" David Schultz at MSG.

Mr. Fuji (with Sika) was interviewed by "Mean" Gene Okerlund about Sika's match with Hulk Hogan tonight.

"The Rebel" Dick Slater pinned a local talent.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper addressed Rick Martel and Tom Zenk, ahead of Piper's match with Zenk at MSG.

"Handsome" Harley Race (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) pinned a local talent.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, who spoke about his upcoming matches, including tonight's match against Sika.

WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, won a non-title match against Sika (with Afa) by disqualification, when Afa interfered. Afterwards Kamala arrived and joined in the attack on Hogan. "Macho Man" Randy Savage came to Hogan's aid as the show went off the air.

Episode 15 - Wrestling Challenge - June 12th

 

 

On this week's edition of 'Wrestling Challenge':

 

 In a Six-Man Tag Team Match, Dino Bravo & The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques & Raymond) beat Pez Whatley, S.D. Jones, and Italian Stallion, when Jacques pinned Stallion.

There was and advert for 'King of The Ring'. We found out that Tito Santana will be the next entrant in the tournament.

One Man Gang (with Slick) pinned a local talent.

In the Event Centre, Sean Mooney ran down this weekend's card at MSG. The card is as follows:

We heard from WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and King Kong Bundy and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan responded to Ken Patera's challenge.

The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with Slick) defeated Tim Horner & Barry Horowitz when Horowitz submitted to Volkoff.

There was an advert for the June issue of WWF Magazine, followed by a feature on "The Rebel" Dick Slater.

Tito Santana pinned "Crippler" Rip Oliver.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed The Wizard, Kamala, and Sika ahead of Sika's match against Hulk Hogan tomorrow night on 'Superstars'. Hulk Hogan responded.

The Can-Am Connection (Rick Martel & Tom Zenk) defeated The Long Riders ("Outlaw" Ron Bass & Black Bart) when Martel pinned Bart.

Episode 14 - Superstars - June 6th

 

On this week's 'Superstars':

Kamala defeated Dusty Wolfe and Jim Merkle in a Handicap Match, when he pinned Wolfe.

Freddie Miller interviewed The U.S. Express (Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda). The U.S. Express will challenge the WWF Tag Team Champions at 'King of The Ring'. They discussed which team they would prefer to face.

The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell) spoke about their match tonight. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Jimmy Hart, who responded to The Killer Bees.

"The Rebel" Dick Slater pinned Jose Luis Rivera.

Sean Mooney announced Koko B. Ware will face "Handsome" Harley Race at MSG, on June 16th. Koko cut a promo.

There was an advert for the June issue of WWF Magazine.

The Wild Samoans (Afa & Sika) beat The Young Stallions (Paul Roma & Jim Powers), when Sika pinned Powers.

There was an advert for 'King of The Ring'.

Ken Patera spoke about Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and The Heenan Family, and challenged them at MSG on June 16th.

WWF Tag Team Champions, The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with Jimmy Hart) retained their Titles against The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell), when Brunzell submitted to Valentine.

It was announced that on next week's show, WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, will face Sika in a non-title match.

Episode 13 - Wrestling Challenge - June 5th

 

On this week's Wrestling Challenge:

"Macho Man" Randy Savage (with Miss Elizabeth) pinned Black Bart.

WWF President, Jack Tunney, announced that Kamala will challenge WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan, at ‘King of The Ring’. Also, at MSG, Kamala & The Wild Samoans will face Hulk Hogan and two partners of his choosing. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed Hulk Hogan who responded to the news.

"Dr. D" David Schultz (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) pinned Dusty Wolfe.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed The Can-Am Connection (Rick Martel & Tom Zenk), who spoke about their partnership, and Tom Zenk’s upcoming match with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, at MSG, on June 16th.

 Tom Zenk pinned Brian Costello.

Their was a recap of The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim  Brunzell) beating WWF Tag Team Champions, The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine), in a non-title match on last week’s ‘Superstars’, and it was announced that the two teams will meet again, this time in a WWF Tag Team Title Match, on tomorrow night’s ‘Superstars'.

The Hart Foundation (Bret "Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) defeated The Brooklyn Brawler & "Iron" Mike Sharpe, when Hart forced Sharpe to submit.

 Dino Bravo and Jimmy Hart, declared that Bravo will compete in the ‘King of The Ring’ tournament.

WWF Intercontinental Champion, The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart), retained his title when he pinned Sam Houston.

Episode 12 - Superstars - May 30th

 

In happenings from this week's Superstars:

The U.S. Express (Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda) defeated The Brooklyn Brawler & "Iron" Mike Sharpe when Rotunda pinned Sharpe.

There was an advert for the upcoming 'King of The Ring' PPV, and The Hart Foundation (Bret "Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) announced they are entered in the tournament.

"Handsome" Harley Race (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) pinned Italian Stallion.

We were updated on Ken Patera's condition following the attack he suffered last week at the hands of Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy.

WWF Intercontinental Champion, The Honky Tonk Man (with Jimmy Hart), pinned George South in a non-title match.

Koko B. Ware pinned The Executioner.

Sam Houston spoke about his upcoming WWF Intercontinental Title shot against The Honky Tonk Man. The Honky Tonk Man responded, also addressing Junkyard Dog.

The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell) defeated WWF Tag Team Champions, The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with Jimmy Hart), in a non-title match, when Blair pinned Beefcake.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed Hulk Hogan, who had a special Memorial Day message.

Episode 11 - Wrestling Challenge - May 29th

On this week's Wrestling Challenge:

The Long Riders ("Outlaw" Ron Bass & Black Bart) defeated Tim Horner & Barry Horowitz, when Bart pinned Horowitz.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan announced that "Handsome" Harley Race is the first entrant in next month's 'King of The Ring' tournament.

"Dr. D" David Schultz was the guest on "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's 'Piper's Pit'. Schultz addressed Tito Santana ahead of their match, in Madison Square Garden, on June 16th, and Piper announced he would also be wrestling on the MSG card against Tom Zenk, under threat of suspension from WWF President, Jack Tunney.

Dino Bravo (with Jimmy Hart) submitted Jose Luis Rivera.

The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell) defeated Dick Murdoch & "The Rebel" Dick Slater, when Brunzell pinned Slater.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed The Junkyard Dog. JYD addressed The Honky Tonk Man and the concussion JYD suffered at the hands of HTM a few weeks ago in Philadelphia.

Rick Martel defeated The Executioner via submission.

There was a special musical look at The U.S. Express (Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda).

The WWF Tag Team Champions, The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg"The Hammer" Valentine, with Jimmy Hart), won a non-title match against Dusty Wolfe & Jim Merkle, when Beefcake submitted Merkle.

"Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper) pinned Koko B. Ware.

King Kong Bundy (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) pinned B. Brian Blair.
